JNV Class 6th Admission 2026-27: The application process for the admission to class 6 at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya has started. JNV Class 6th Admission 2026 Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6th Admission for the year 2026, the candidate has to meet the following eligibility requirements. - Students may apply through their district for Jawahar Navodaya Class 6 Admission in 2026.

To apply for the Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6 Admission for the year 2026, the interested candidate will have to follow the following steps.

JNV Class 6th Admission 2026-27 Exam Pattern
The NVS Class 6 Admission 2026 exam will be objective type (MCQs) and conducted by an offline process on OMR-based mode:

JNV Class 6th Admission 2026-27 Syllabus
The JNVST will take place over a timing of two and a half hours, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, and will consist of three sections. The examination will have 80 objective-type questions, totaling 100 marks.
Each candidate will receive a single test booklet that will include all three sections. An additional 40 minutes will be given for differently-abled students. For every right answer, candidates will get 1.25 marks. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
The Mental Ability Test will be administered for one hour, consisting of 40 questions and a total of 50 marks.
The arithmetic test will take place over 30 minutes, featuring 20 questions and a maximum of 25 marks.
The language test will be conducted for 20 minutes, including 20 questions and a total of 25 marks.
In total, there will be 80 questions available for 100 marks, with an overall duration of 2 hours.

In January 2026, the Navodaya 6th Class admission result 2025 for Phase 1 will be made public. In May 2026, the Phase 2 results for the winter session JNVs will be released.
