Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2025-26 is a CSR initiative launched by Kotak Mahindra Group & Kotak Education Foundation. The main objective of the Kotak Foundation is to help those girls who have performed well in 12th but are unable to study further due to financial weakness. In such a situation, financial assistance is provided to all these students through the Kotak Kanya Scholarship by the Kotak Foundation so that they can pursue higher studies in professional education after 12th. Through this scholarship, it is ensured that all those students who have scored more than 75% marks in 12th and whose financial condition is not good can also complete their further studies and move towards a better future.
As we all know, no matter how much progress the society has made, even today there are some sections where daughters have to strangle their happiness. No matter how intelligent, ambitious, and hardworking their daughters are, their education is discontinued due to poor financial conditions. In such a situation, Kotak Education Foundation and Kotak Mahindra Group are providing financial assistance to intelligent, hardworking, and ambitious daughters. Under this scholarship, selected students are given financial assistance of Rs 1.5 lakh per year so that they can take admission in professional graduate courses and make their lives strong.
Under theKotak Kanya Scholarship 2025-26, financial assistance is provided to girls for admission in engineering, MBBS, integrated LLB, BSc, nursing, B Pharmacy, design architecture, etc., where they are given financial assistance of Rs 1.5 lakh per year. During this entire scholarship, it is ensured that this financial assistance is provided to the girls every year without any hindrance so that they can use this fund for tuition fees, hostel books, laptops, stationery, internet, or academic expenses.
Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2025-26 Last Date of Application
The application process under the Kotak Kanya Scholarship started on 9th July 2025. The last date of application has been fixed as 31st August 2025. After receiving the application form, Kotak Mahindra Foundation will provide the details of the interview date to the girls through mail/SMS. Apart from this, if needed, date-wise details for the telephonic interview and written test are also sent by mail or SMS.

Under the Kotak Kanya Scholarship, selected girls are provided assistance of Rs 1.5 lakh per year. This assistance is given to them every year till they complete graduation. Through scholarship, expenses of tuition fees, hostel expenses, books, stationery, laptops, internet, etc. are paid to the girls. However, girls have to ensure the eligibility criteria for renewal under the scholarship.
Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To avail the benefit of the Kotak Kanya Scholarship, the applicant girl must have passed class 12th. The girl taking benefit of the scholarship must have scored more than 75% marks in class 12th. The annual family income of the girl must be less than 6 lakhs. At the same time, the girl must also ensure that after 12th she has taken admission in courses like Engineering, MBBS Integrated LLB, B.Sc. Nursing, B. Pharmacy, Design, Architecture, Integrated BMS, and B.Sc. Research.
The benefit of scholarship is given to those girls who have taken admission in a recognized institute like NIRF or NAAC. Or girls who have taken admission in a reputed institute like ISAR/IISC. The benefit of this scholarship is not given to the children of employees of Kotak Mahindra Group, Kotak Education Foundation, or BUDDY4STUDY.

Selection Process for Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2025
Under the Kotak Kanya Scholarship, girls are selected on the basis of their educational qualification and financial status, in which first of all the applications of the girls are sorted out. During this, a list is prepared on the basis of their educational qualification and financial background.
The girls included in this list are invited for an interview. These interviews are conducted in two stages. After the interview, the final selection is ensured by the members of the Foundation, in which the interview performance of the girls, their education record, and their income status are taken into consideration. After which the benefit amount under the scholarship is sent to the girls through DBT.
Renewal of Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2025
Under the Kotak Kanya Scholarship, the scholarship is continued till the completion of the entire graduation course. However, during renewal, some criteria are reviewed by the Foundation such as
- The girl should not have dropped out in the previous semester.
- There should not be any disciplinary problem from the girl’s side.
- The girl child must have at least a 6 CGPA rank in the previous year.
Apart from this, the performance of the girl child is also reviewed from time to time by the Kotak Account Education Foundation, and only after that is the benefit amount for the next year transferred to the account by applying for renewal.
